Low-angle view of the buildings of The Golden Lane near Falkensteiner Hotel Prague

Golden alley

The Golden Lane is part of Prague Castle and is also called Alechmists' Lane, because alchemists are said to have worked here in the past to uncover the secret of the artificial production of gold. In the various houses of the almost 100-metre-long alley, where Franz Kafka also lived, there are various exhibitions that illustrate life at that time. Free entry with the Prague Visitor Pass (available at our reception).
