Cultural programme

Russia’s main museum has prepared an extensive cultural programme. Two exhibitions will open at once in cooperation with the National Museum of Serbia: the Invisible Art inclusive project and the Tsar’s Porcelain exposition. Marking the centenary of the Serbian ballet celebrated this year, the legendary St. Petersburg Jacobson Ballet Company will stage two performances at the National Theatre in Belgrade, showing the best of its works. The same stage will host a concert of famous Russian baritone singer Vasily Gerello, who bears an honorary title of the People’s Artist of Russia. The Hermitage Days in Serbia will also offer screenings of documentaries and feature films at the Yugoslav Film Library, as well as workshops, seminars and round tables at the National Museum. Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the Hermitage Museum, will deliver an open public lecture titled The Culture Bridges of St. Petersburg at the University of Belgrade.
