Winter hiking

Discover the winter wonderland of the Schladming-Dachstein region on impressive hiking trails such as the 4-season trail on the Hochwurzen, the Kulmbergrunde in Ramsau or the Talbachklamm trail, which is illuminated in the evening. Our certified mountain and ski guides are on hand to lead you safely through the breathtaking mountain landscape. Climbing & via ferrata

With 33 via ferratas at all levels of difficulty, ranging from 1,000 to almost 3,000 metres above sea level, this region is a dream come true for climbing enthusiasts. From steep walls to high peaks and cosy huts - everyone will find their perfect route here, from children to experienced climbing pros. The Schladming-Dachstein region not only inspires with its breathtaking panorama, but also with first-class cuisine. Since 2019, Styrian 4-toque chef Richard Rauch has been bringing top-class gourmet cuisine to the huts together with the Alpine innkeepers. Enjoy exclusive alpine dishes that will enrich your hikes with culinary delights. Hike to one of the participating huts every day and discover regional delicacies. Further information on ‘Alpine Cuisine by Richard Rauch’ and the current dishes can be found at www.schladming-dachstein.at/almkulinarik. True flavour experiences also await you at our hotel. The sumptuous breakfast buffet is an invigorating start to the day, while in the evening we spoil you with several courses after your adventures.

Schladming is not only a hiking paradise, but has also made a name for itself as a biking mecca. If you don't want to miss out on summit conquests or bike tours on your active holiday, you can easily combine the two here with us! The title ‘Bike & Hike’ stands for a special experience where you can take your bike with you into the mountains. Either as a means of transport to the hiking route or for an exciting bike trail, which you can reach by cable car.
