Traveling with the little ones can be wonderful and enriching, as long as the resort is child-friendly and geared to the needs of families with babies. At the Falkensteiner Hotel Sonnenalpe we ensure that we offer you the perfect setting for a carefree break from everyday life. Upon advance notice, we will equip your room to accommodate small babies - we have baby cribs, diaper pails, baby bathtubs, baby monitors, etc.

Everything you need

We are also happy to lend you extra baby equipment for excursions: with the baby carrier backpack and all-terrain stroller you are perfectly equipped for hiking tours or extensive walks in the beautiful nature. In the hotel itself, the baby pool provides water fun, while the Babyland for children in the age group from 0 to 3 years has to offer an animation room with baby toys as well as childcare for an additional fee. At meals you will also find a selection of baby food options.

In the house with our FALKY LAND a new animation area was created, which is ideal for playing and romping. An indoor playground with numerous activities and loving childcare awaits adventurous kids. Also special is our water world as well as the ACQUAPURA SPA for the whole family, where children and adults can have fun and relax together in the pools and during wellness treatments. Splash and dive, but also come to rest together and be pampered - precious moments to enjoy.

Vacation with (Pre-)Teens

Of course, older children and teenagers have their very own needs, which we want to cater to. What is needed is a program that offers a certain amount of autonomy and excitement so that boredom does not arise. Unlike the toddler area of FALKY LAND, teens will find a climbing wall, table soccer and air field hockey in their area. Cool outdoor activities around the hotel are adapted to seasonal themes - harvest time, winter fun, etc. - also fixed in the program are treasure hunts or scavenger hunts. Experiments (physics/chemistry), cooking classes and nature, art or sport camps complete the offer for older children and teenagers. Families are invited to join the evening program and experience fun at first hand. Those who like it more sporty, benefit from activities such as hiking, climbing, biking, water sports in the Gailtal or at the Pressegger See as well as adventurous quad tours or the included green fee at the Nassfeld golf course in summer. The winter trumps with 110km of fun on the slopes and also offers the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful snowy landscape while cross-country skiing, ski touring or snowshoeing. Tobogganing and skidooing provide fun and speed.
