You can park your car in our garage, liable for costs (€ 9 per day). Please make a reservation at the reception, and if available you will get a card. In addition, a free parking place is available for our hotel guests. Please take care of the size of your car (max. height 220cm). Please keep the hotel entrance free for the loading and unloading of the luggage. The hotel does not hold responsibility for possible damages.
Please be aware that all areas in our Falkensteiner Hotel Sonnenalpe are non-smoking. You can continue to enjoy your cigarette undisturbed in the fresh air at the hotel entrance, on the room balconies and on the terraces. We charge a fee of € 200,- for the smell of smoke in the room. Please close the door while smoking on the balcony. Thank you for your understanding!
You want your dog to enjoy your vacation as much as you do? In the Falkensteiner hotels we also grant your beloved four-legged friend a welcome home feeling and offer everything a dog's heart desires. We look forward to welcoming you and your faithful companion to our hotel. Your dog may accompany you in the room, lobby area and bar. However, the restaurants, pools and spa area are reserved for vacationing humans.

Today many people have food intolerances or want to abstain from animal products entirely. For us, it goes without saying that we add to your holistic wellness on holiday, as well as with respect to food, by catering to your individual dietary requirements. In our restaurants vegan meals are available on request. From tofu to seasonal, home-made vegan dishes, and special commercially-available vegan convenience products, seasonal fruit and sorbets. For breakfast enjoy seasonal products such as fruit, vegetables, jams and margarine.
We are happy to serve you vegan spreads when you order in advance. Gluten-free and/or lactose-free products such as pasta, baked goods, cheese and sausage products, spreads and cereals are all available on request. If you have a diet which is vegan and/or gluten or lactose-free, we request that you inform us at the time of booking or a couple of days before you arrive.
Cancellation until 14 days before arrival is free of charge. In case of a cancellation within 14 days before your arrival, we will charge the following cancellation fees:

In case of an early departure or a late arrival, no refund on package arrangements is possible.

Our voluntary flat-rate tip
Tipping has a long tradition, especially in Austria, and is regarded as financial appreciation and a thank you for special service. However, the increase in cashless payments means that tipping is becoming more and more complicated. In addition, we have changed the concept in some of our hotels and included more services. This means that there is even less opportunity to tip when paying.
After an increasing number of requests from our guests for ways to give tips in an uncomplicated way, we have created the voluntary flat-rate tip.
With this we take the liberty of adding 10 euros per night/room to your bill as a voluntary tip, provided you were satisfied with the service. You have the option to cancel, reduce or even increase this amount at any time. Of course, you can still tip individually.
We will inform you again in detail about our voluntary flat-rate tip at check-in and check-out and will also be happy to accept your wishes here.

Good to know
Every Falkensteiner hotel that offers the voluntary flat-rate tip has its own tip committee. The committee consists of one employee per department and decides how the money is to be distributed.
