Whether for skiing or snowboarding, for sunbathing or the après-ski: the versatile ski area at Sun Ski World has just the right thing to offer for every winter fan. 110 kilometres of slopes at all levels of difficulty offer the perfect stage for everyone, from beginners to professionals. A large number of rustic huts and culinary delights provide that extra helping of mountain delight.

The Nassfeld ski area is one of the largest and most diverse ski areas in Carinthia. Enjoy the luxury of the 40 different slopes at different difficulty levels, the freestyle area and the fun slope. There are also 25 different restaurants and ski huts, where you can linger over a meal.

A true highlight for all freestyle fans is Snowpark Nassfeld, located in the Gartnerkofel-Watschiger Alm area. With kickers, rails and boxes with different degrees of difficulty, freestyle rookies and pros alike will find the obstacles for them. The setup is also constantly being updated, and therefore offers constant variations. Free freestyle workshops with professional trainers take place in the snow park every Sunday.

With the skins on the skis, going up over the snow is easy, while you are so close to nature. The equipment is provided by ski rentals in the area. It is recommended you do a tour like this with a guide, as a certain amount of knowledge is required to stay safe in open terrain. There are a multitude of options offered on the various tours, for example, from tour 14 towards Auernig (approx. 3 h) to tour 11 on the Gartnerkofel (approx. 4.5 - 6 h).

A great hike through the snow-covered fields and forests without constantly falling into the snow? This is exactly what you can do on a snowshoe hike. Enjoy the wonderful hiking trails away from the ski slopes. Stroll through the snow-covered meadows and along the hiking trails in the Nassfeld area. Ready, steady....Go! Put your feet up and the toboggan goes down at full speed. The perfect change from a day of skiing. You can get to the starting point of the toboggan run on foot, by train or by shuttle. 5 toboggan runs are also illuminated in the evening, and you can linger a little longer in the rustic huts and then start the return journey under the starry sky. Toboggans are available to rent for a small fee at various locations on site, depending on which toboggan run you choose.

Try the 22 km long network of trails on Nassfeld, where you can also take in the biathlon practice centre and improve your shooting. Equipment and cross-country skiing boots can be rented on site (At our partners), so nothing stands in the way of your cross-country skiing adventure! If you love ice skating, you will be in a true ice-skating paradise here. With 55 hectares of natural ice and a 2.5 km long circular track, you will find everything that makes an ice skater's heart beat faster. There are various ice rinks, which all offer unique flora and fauna to enjoy. All you have to do is grind the runners and hit the ice!
