Mid EUROPE
Every year, Schladming-Dachstein hosts one of the largest brass music festivals in Europe. More than 35 orchestras from around 15 nations come together to make music together and live out their passion - music from the genres of classical music, traditional Bohemian sounds, swing to rocky SKA sounds and pop. Mid EUROPE is especially characterized by the fact that none of the musicians or the orchestra receives a salary, but to participate in the event out of their own interest.
