The Ipsmiller winery has been successfully vinifying red and white wines for eight generations. From generation to generation, the knowledge and craftsmanship of turning healthy, ripe grapes into full-bodied and harmonious wines have been passed down. Even today, wines are created following this quality recipe, with a personal signature.
"Every wine is tasted by the family" before being bottled. This is one of the winery's secrets and what has distinguished the Ipsmiller family for generations. Under the slogan "The largest red wine community on the A5", red wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs will find their surprise.
The Czech lake district, only 500 meters away, absorbs the warm sunrays during the day. After sunset, north-eastern winds carry this stored warmth to Schrattenberg, creating excellent ripening conditions for red wine varieties such as Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
