Fane Alpine Village near Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Falkensteinerhof

Fane Alpine Village

The Fanealm can be found above Mühlbach in the Valser Valley in the Fundres mountains. The most beautiful alpine village in South Tyrol is an ideal destination for outings both in summer and in winter. A quaint alpine village, embedded in a unique setting of mountains and nature. Residential huts, hay huts, a small church and three alpine taverns – around 30 buildings in total - make up the idyllic Fane Alm. Fane Alm was built in the Middle Ages as a hospital for plague and cholera patients, but today it is one of the most important destinations for family outings.
