Ruins of Castle Wolkenstein

Wolkenstein Castle is a medieval ruin near Wörschach in the district of Liezen. First mentioned in 1099, it was the second largest fortified castle in Styria. Today, the keep is only preserved as the remains of a wall. A visit offers marvellous views over the Enns Valley and insights into the history of the region.
