Various snowshoeing possibilities around Kronplatz and the Pustertal Valley

Hiking and slegding in the Pustertal Valley knows no limits there are possibilities for all levels of ability.

Skiing

There are 119 km of pure slope bliss awaiting you at Kronplatz, the most popular mountain in the region! And if that's not enough, you can benefit from the other four large and three smaller ski areas in the Pustertal valley. Countless adventures await you on perfectly groomed slopes - whether on skis or snowboard.

You can purchase your ski pass at the reception!

SkiTour

With the main Alpine ridge to the north and the Dolomites to the south, the Puster Valley and Kronplatz are perfect for ski touring. There are various routes for all levels of ability. Ski touring can also be offered as a course with preparation and follow-up.

Ice Climbing

Climbing in winter? No problem! To climb over frozen waterfalls is a unique experience and only possible in few areas. Discover unique locations with us!

On request we also offer courses to learn how to set ice screws, ice climbing techniques and roping down.

BIATHLON EXPERIENCE

The biathlon mecca in South Tyrol is undoubtedly located in Antholz, where the Biathlon World Cup is held every year. The cross-country ski slopes run for over 60 kilometers through the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park and will leave even the toughest athletes breathless with their stunning views. Side by side with Biathlon experts you learn how to shoot and glide on crossskiers in no time.

WINTER SLEIGH RIDE

Discover the winter magic of the Ahrntal Valley in a charming way with a sleigh ride through a snow-covered paradise. Glide through snow-laden forests and across enchanting meadows, while the serene silence of winter and breathtaking mountain views captivate your senses. Are you looking for a way to keep fit during your stay? Our fitness instructor and personal coach awaits you with all-round support and diverse classes in the hotel's fitness room. The Falkensteiner fitness area is home to a variety of Technogym equipment for functional training, mobilisation and kettlebell training.
