Galerie Marienbad
Located directly on the colonnade, in the heart of Mariánské Lázně, the new gallery of contemporary art seamlessly blends with the 19th-century spa architecture. Its elegant atmosphere elevates the experience of the artworks on display. The gallery plans to host three exhibitions each year, showcasing both Czech and international contemporary artists.
The opening exhibition is dedicated to painter Václav Malina, also serving as a tribute to his 75th birthday. A native of Plzeň, Malina is a prominent figure in Czech visual art – not only as a painter and graphic artist, but also as a writer, gallerist, curator, and respected educator.
