Winemaker Alois Gollenz makes the incomprehensible tangible. The Gollenz winery is not satisfied with tradition and history, but strives for infinity. The history of the Styrian volcanic region stretches back into the immeasurable, and the ages of the earth flow into the grapes that grow where hot lava once covered the slopes. Alois Gollenz has completely reorganised the family business to give this infinity a face. The mineral soils, formed by vibrations and molten rock millions of years ago, characterise the unique flavour of the grapes. Each bottle of wine contains the essence of ages, making every sip a piece of infinity.
