On our culinary journey through South Tyrolean cuisine, you begin your day with a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired: sweet and savoury, healthy and indulgent. In the afternoon, we treat you to our next little culinary highlight—our interpretation of the traditional Marende. This exquisite assortment of hearty and sweet bites is available as a buffet or, on request, in a charming wooden gourmet box for you to fill and take to your favourite picnic spot. In the evening, you can choose between our sustainable Antholz Special Menu, a tribute to our homeland featuring honest, high-quality, and locally sourced ingredients from the Antholz Valley, or our equally refined à-la-carte menu, where you can mix and match to create your perfect meal.

Marende

In South Tyrol, we call our afternoon snack Marende—a cherished tradition that perfectly complements our culinary philosophy. To keep delighting your palate with new treats, we prepare six thoughtfully curated snacks for you every day. If you feel like a change of scenery or discover a new favourite spot, you’re welcome to borrow one of our wooden gourmet boxes and fill it with your choice of delicacies. Paired with a picnic blanket, you can enjoy your snack wherever you please—outdoors or on our restaurant terrace in summer, with sledges and blankets in the snow during winter, or in the privacy of your room. Every day brings new delights, such as spicy farmer’s bacon with horseradish, vibrant salads with speck dumpling pralines, South Tyrolean-style tramezzini, cheese specialities, organic yoghurt with granola, or freshly baked Linzer torte.

  • Gourmet picnic: From the hotel, it's a 5-minute walk up through the forest to an idyllic clearing with two rustic wooden huts and a large colourful alpine meadow in front. A picnic with savoury and sweet treats awaits you here. 
  • Tastings for South Tyrolean fans: Whether mountain cheese specialities or exquisite wines - we regularly organise tastings and blind tastings of South Tyrolean  quality products.
